Ted's Granola

  • 10 cups oats
  • 3 cups coconut
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • salt, couple dashes
  • 1 1/2 tbs cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • raisins, to taste

Mix dry ingredients together (except for raisins) then add wet ingredients and combine.

Place on 2 cookie sheets and pat down. Bake at 200 degrees for perhaps 6 hrs. The coconut should be toasted when done.

Mix in raisins after granola has been baked.

Store in airtight container.
