German Chocolate Cake Frosting

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Combine in small sauce pan, cook and stir over medium heat 12 minutes. Add 1 1/3 coconut and 1cup pecans. Chill until thick enough to spread.
