Falafel

  • 4 cups chickpeas, cooked
  • 1 cup celery (or 1/2 cup celery and 1/2 cup scallions)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbs tamari
  • 3 tbs bread crumbs, fine
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

Mix in Cuisinart until smooth. chill well. Form into small balls. Place on cookie sheet and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
