Crockpot Grains

  • 1 cup grains - lentils, barley, millet, rice, etc
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 lb beans, kidney, pinto, etc
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen corn
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste salt
  • 2 1/2 cups water

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
