Chocolate Butterfingers

  • 3 cup peanut butter (don't use natural peanut butter)
  • 1 cup corn syrup, light
  • 3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • dipping chocolate, melted (about 50 oz)

Directions
Cook corn syrup, sugar, and water to 310 degrees F., remove from heat, stir in warmed peanut butter until completely blended.


Pour onto greased cookie sheet and score into pieces.


When cool and hard, dip into melted chocolate.


Consider adding salted peanuts just before pouring onto cookie sheets.
