Wheat Oil Pastry (large batch)

  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 1/4 cups white flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/8 cups oil
  • 10 tbs ice water

Mix flours and salt. Beat water into oil until it is cream colored. Pour oil all at once into flour mixture. Blend gently until crumbly. Roll between wax paper.
