Chunky Applesauce with Raisins

  • 4 medium Apples (I used Granny Smith), peeled and chopped
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 2 tbs Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice

Combine all ingredients into a medium saucepan and simmer on medium heat for about 10 minutes. Uncover and boil until liquid is the desired consistency (another 5-10 minutes).
